Trifextra Week Seven Weekend Challenge: A Justified Exclamation Point

The barbecue’s rotisserie was assembled and soon a delicious aroma wafted from the meaty morsel skewered thereupon.

“Mommy, my guinea pig ran away.  Little Suzy cried.

“No, “Mommy laughed heartily.  “He’s barbecuing.”

  1. No! Linda, BBFF, Cybermom….you have a bit of a dark side there… :-) What does bbq guinea pig taste like? I bet it tastes like chicken. I like how you used the ! repeating that Susie cried, but this time she Cried! Cool :-)

  2. Ah, I like that comma in there! Finally got this to post to the Trifecta site so all is right with the world again. :)

  3. Hi,
It certainly is a justified exclamation point, but BBQ guinea pig? That is certainly different. :D

  4. This made me laugh! Very nicely done.

  5. I hope that guinea pig wasn’t friends with Danny, the hunting hamster? So much needless tragedy lately, in the rodent world.
By the way, excellent work here : )

  6. Please tell me you marinated it first.
If you did, surely Suzy will appreciate her pet’s sacrifice.

  7. ..a.nd of course you filleted it before serving?

    Ronnie

  8. Oh that’s awful!
    For Suzy.
Who is, I presume, being put on.
For the reader, it’s a gasp moment to be sure.

  9. Ha ha. I know it’s awful, but it’s awfully funny, too. No, he’s barbecuing. Gross. Thanks for linking up with some humor this weekend. Hope to see you back again soon.

  10. Um… could I have fries with that? : P
