Ouch! Well, better 7-up than Coke, in the case of a yellow sari…. good one.. if a bit alliterative (right word? hmm… perhaps I mean sublimely sibilant…)
Ha! And something tells, Ned, sibilant is in your vocabulary and you didn’t have to look it up! (I did! )
Guilty….
I probably shouldn’t mention that I had to choose between two forms of the root word… sibilance, or sibilant… I just went with the one that sounded best out loud….
Hope Sarah gets the 7-up out, it’s a nice looking sari….
LOL! Sibilance or sibilant . . . .go outside and play!!
Supremely silly. I’m stupidly searching for “s” terms to sincerely say that I enjoyed this, but my mind is sadly sapped of proper words. So sorry. Anyway, niccccccccccccely done.
Oh thank you Trailertrashdeluxe! I so enjoyed your “s” ing!
Hahahaha! I’m glad that you worked the word, “Salmonella” into the apology. It wouldn’t have been the same without it. Sarah is much more relatable now that I picture her wretching over a toilet bowl!
Hahaha! I agree! Poor Sarah! I kinda doubt she’ll be giving Sid another chance.
Alliteration always adds absolute adoration! Awesome!
Ha ha! Super Stupendous Comment Jennifer!
You inspired me.
Just went over there and checked it out! I’m spraying dirt out of my mouth laughing!
My sincere apology for the fracas caused when I lost my diamong earring at your salon. You called to say you found it. My thought, “yeah, right; substitute in progress.” Pleasantly surprised untrue.
Shari! Amazing comment! You should enter the writing challenge, click on the link at the top of this page and go for it!
Sorry – I can’t seem to figure out how to get to the challenge page.
http://www.trifectawritingchallenge.com/ just click on this link, Shari or paste it in your browser. The challenge is about half way down the page. Good luck!:)
Hi,
Well done on this one.
Something tells me Sarah + Sid = seriously not happening….
lol.. you are awesome!
Ah! Thais Lizzie!
Omg! I can’t even type Thanks without typo-ing!
That’s easy for you to say! Well, ssssssssssssort of …..
Cute story, Linda.
Ha! Thankssssssss!
My mind got all jumbled up just trying to read that! LOL! Didn’t know you could get tongue-tied in your brain!
HahaCathe! You think that’s bad you should see my fingers! :b
Here goes a ‘rookie attempt…. I am cetainly sorry that such a shockingly, disturbing accident should happen to your superb car being crushed between a cement truck and a garbage truck that resulted in it being just trash.. Had to try! lol Diane
Bravo Diane! Haha! Are you sure you’re a rookie? You should post it at the Trifecta site! I highly encourage you to go for it! The link is at the top of the post . . . Good luck!
I just realized that I used your word ..’shockingly’ in my blurb…plageurism for sure lol Diane
Hahaha! Diane! I’m making a citizens arrest LOL!
Such super scintillating sibilant syllables sure made me shake my rattle– ssssssimply ssssssssuberb, sssssssssistah!
